The Farm

Certified as an organic producer by ECOCERT, this 4-hectare farm grows a variety of vegetables and fruit, in a greenhouse and outdoors, which are distributed weekly to organic stores in Porto. Vegetables: lettuce, leek, potatoes, beetroot, broccoli, savoy and heart cabbage, courgettes, broad beans, green beans, turnips, etc. Fruit: chestnuts, gooseberries, oranges, blueberries, apples, strawberries, pears, etc. Soil’s fertility and an organic production free of chemicals ensure natural flavour and healthy products. The farm promotes biodiversity, balance of the nutrients’ cycle, preservation and improvement of soil’s fertility, and the quality of agricultural products, achieving an overall sustainable balance.
